I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED THIS BOOK!! It took me so long a) to just pick it up and b) to finish it but I’ve done it. I did annotate it which is part of the reason it took so long.

This book was just one thing after the other. I can’t even begin to count the amount of times I was like what is happening. It’s a beast of a book at 900 pages so every time something sort of wrapped up I was like well what now and then something else would drop.
There were some storylines I wish had gone on longer or tied in more. Like Annabel; book one was spent trying to resurrect her, book two they were trying to find her and expose what had happened to her and then chaos ensued and resulted in Libby’s death, so book three Julian wanted revenge on her but she was off being obsessed with Ash (who I’ll also get to) and running off with him to Thule where Julian did get his revenge but then a demon was like pretending to be her later??? Idk. And Ash, I thought he’d play more of a role but one he was whisked away to Thule and then left with Jace that was it till the very end. I thought we’d get more set up. Oh and the whole parabati curse! I expected more from it. Basically they burned up in heavenly fire and became giant Nephilim that had one track minds. And then it was like there were no consequences afterwards of them getting together once they were no longer parabati, I mean good for them I wanted them to be happy together but still. Idk I just expected more.

It was definitely a world wind of emotions throughout this book.
