The Program by Suzanne Young

5.0

THIS BOOK IS SO EMOTIONAL AND AMAZING. I can't even begin to describe how incredible this story is. I thought the concept was really creative and original, and this story just blew me away and exceeded my expectations. This book literally hit my emotions with a wrecking ball and I couldn't stop crying. But my god, I felt so attached to these characters. I loved Sloane and James. They were such a good balance for each other, and they were each others rock when they needed to be, and it was beautiful. I was rooting for them the entire time. Not only was the love story so painfully beautiful, but it was extremely realistic. The whole idea of this book seems realistic and it's scary, but the concept is so intriguing, I couldn't put this book down. I just keep analyzing all the things that happened and I just find myself wanting to talk about it all the time. Not to mention the freaking ENDING IS PERFECT. The second to last chapter made me weep like a child and it was the perfect conclusion to this story. Then the epilogue pissed me off and made me question everything, but in a good way.

I don't think I've ever been so intrigued by a storyline before, and Suzanne Young does an incredible job at keeping this story interesting and suspenseful. I never saw any of the plot twists coming, and when they happened I felt so shocked and amazed and frustrated at times but this book made me feel so much, and that's what I love most about reading; is feeling so connected to these characters that it literally makes you feel everything they're feeling.

This is one of the best books I've ever read, and it'll be on my mind for a very long time. Thank you Suzanne Young for this masterpiece.
