I genuinely have no words to express how beautifully Madeline Miller characterised Achilles and Patroclus and how she was able to turn their story into something even more devastating and tragic.
The final chapters were so gorgeously written and leaving it with the insinuation that the whole book was Patroclus telling Thetis his memories with Achilles trying to convince her to let him be at peace with him in death...
such a heart wrenching bittersweet ending I genuinely have so many words but I have no words at the same time.
