"You’re like color exploding in a black-and-white world.”

You & Me's a book about relationships, and healing, and, love. It's about finding yourself, your path, and love later in life, and it's a beautiful portrayal of how you can go from surviving to living even when you thought you had no choice left but to continue on the path you started on when you were younger.

There's something about books with older protagonists I've really been enjoying lately, and You & Me is right at the top of that list. Luke getting another shot at his life, both romantically but more importantly, when it comes to his son, felt so rewarding and emotional.

This book's beautiful and has made me an instant Tal Bauer fan! I've seen the book all over insta for a while and was excited but slightly scared going in, like I am for all hyped books. It was SO GOOD! I read it earlier this month and tried to pull up my notes for this review but they just say "cry, amazing, so good" and tbh, that's accurate 🤣
I am so open to recs for which Tal Bauer book I should read next if anyone has any.

"I was dizzy—from the night, from the wine, from him. From holding back, from falling in love, from being so fucking oblivious to everything I’d felt until all of it hit me at once."
