The Fourth Trimester: A Postpartum Guide to Healing Your Body, Balancing Your Emotions, and Restoring Your Vitality by Kimberly Ann Johnson
Did not finish book. Stopped at 36%.
if you are going to sell me on the reality and importance of things like energy fields I will need more than vague reassurance! Johnson is unhinged in a bad way. her personality is white person who is obsessed with India. my expectations for this book were extremely high and they were completely shattered. I hope there is a good fourth trimester book out there.
the only good point Johnson makes is that "postpartum depression" is too frequently applied as a clinical diagnosis in situations where women are actually just incredibly unsupported by husbands, employers, etc. but I didn't want to wade through the rest of this garbage looking for gems.
