I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai
3.0
Malala’s journey is admirable but there was a clearly another biased voice in this book. Not sure if I’m going to review this book especially since I don’t know enough about the Taliban in Pakistan and the political climate. Maybe when I read more about it. I also had no idea her father played such a huge part?? Maybe I was hoping for more initiative from her end. Still, I’m glad I read this book already -even if years late (also would’ve been better if Malala didn’t have a book written at such a young age but later when she knew more about... well life, maybe then her voice would’ve been more prominent).
