Bardugo is the QUEEN of plot twists. Although this tale was a bit longer, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Every paragraph was relevant to the story and well-written.

It was really fun linking this story to the Shadow & Bone triolgy; Nikolai especially. It is truly wonderful how Bardugo can say so much without including long passages and long-winded context that bogs a story down.
