The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood

I don't usually write reviews for books that leave me afraid but for this book I feel like I'm complied to.
I've never felt this much fear and downright unpleasantness while reading a book. The story was in general hard for me to read, I had to start another book that was lighter to be able to finish this one.
The ideas and events to someone of my background are not far fetched I know of some places that view and treat women this way. And not just the men it is also the women. That repulsive concept that women are only there to provide children and nothing else, that they are to be blamed for every danger that falls upon them. It truly exist in other parts of the world in this day and time.
I think this book serves as a warning to us, that we shouldn't be misled by fear that we accept the lose of our rights.
