The Herakles Theme: The Adaptations of the Hero in Literature from Homer to the Twentieth Century by Karl Galinsky
3.0
This was a lot more difficult to read than Emma Stafford's Herakles, but it was still very informative. I especially appreciated the insight Galinsky offered into lesser-known French and German publications, where translations, or lack thereof, have made them less accessible to readers of english. However, due to the difficulty I had with reading it, and the fact that this is Goodreads and not an academic website for researching syllabi, I'll leave this at a 3.
