This series has been one of my favorites. Ezra and Savannah’s story pulled at all of my heart strings and had me on the edge of my seat all at once. Savannah stopped in Time River to find her sister Jessica. They have only ever had one another, and she’s determined something is wrong, and she’s going to find her - she just has to do it under the radar and without getting close to anyone. What seems simple enough to her, becomes way more complicated when Ezra finds her sleeping in her car. The minute Ezra finds Savannah he’s not only instantly drawn to her, he has the instant need to protect and help her. Of course, Savannah doesn’t want him in her hair. Their banter and sparing is funny, and full of tension. As they slowly break down one another’s walls and rules and become closer, suspicious things start to happen. The found family is forever one of my favorite things, and this one is one of the best.
