I read The Art Forger for book club. It's honestly probably something I wouldn't have naturally picked up or in the very least, finished. The first 150 pages were a bit of a snooze fest for me. I liked the flashbacks but was pretty bored with the present day. The story had too many painting details and not enough action to move the story forward. The plot eventually picked up speed and I found myself more engaged. There's not too much substance to the story but it was entertaining enough. I imagine art enthusiasts would enjoy this read even more than I did.
