I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: HFN
POV: dual 1st person
spice: a few open-door spicy scenes
TWs: death of a loved one (recounted)
Kinky Content: biting, cum play, dirty talk, fingering, hair pulling, hand necklaces, irrumatio, manhandling, masturbation, nipple play, oral, phone sex, queening, sex toys, stripping, voyeurism
standalone: book 1 in the Love and Hockey series
final thoughts: I loved the letters and lists passed between the MCs- so cute!! Lauren Blakely didn’t miss with this one-night stand to friends to lovers with a good girl FMC and a sweet MMC who is helping her get through a life β€œto do” list.
I loved the small but mighty gestures Wesley performs for Josie throughout their relationship (platonic and beyond). He was such a sweet character, and I loved seeing the character progression both individually and as a couple. I love the support they both had for each other even when they only said what they thought the other wanted to hear.
As always, I can’t wait to read the next book in her series because I love the worlds she creates and the characters inside them!
