The novella format can be difficult to sink your teeth into, but all becomes clear in the final story. The protagonist does develop though isn’t what I would call ‘likeable’ or ‘relatable’ yet. It will be interesting to see this development carry through into the novel series as we gain further context for her behaviour in these stories.
Graphic: Emotional abuse, Gore, Misogyny, Violence, Blood, and Murder
Moderate: Physical abuse, Sexism, Slavery, Toxic relationship, Grief, and Gaslighting
Minor: Confinement and Torture
