When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

5.0

you can't ever reach perfection, but you can believe in an asymptote toward which you are ceaselessly striving

This is a book that has me speechless. It resonates too personally. As someone caught between literature and medicine, striving to do both seems absurd, but Paul Kalanithi shows me that ultimately both are lenses used to examine the very same question.
