I really thought this was about Olive and Adam, her lab buddy or something, but no. I was wrong, so WRONG. It's Olive and Adam Carlsen. Dr. Carlsen. Her department's faculty. The antagonistic and unapproachable young professor who no one likes, except the fact that he's also probably the hottest professor there is.

Two nerds who are in love may become one of my favorite trope. May or may not give us inspiration of what to do in grad school:
Definitely not dating one of the faculty, absolutely not!

Speaking of the professor, Dr. Adam Carlsen himself, HE IS SO WHOLESOME AND TALL AND THOUGHTFUL AND A SMART ASS, A FUCKING SMART ASS WHO IS A RESEARCH PROFESSOR OR WHATEVER IT IS HE'S DOING. Damn, I'll let him comments on my thesis, a mean one even, if that's what it takes to make him talk.

Let's not forget about Olive Smith, the true smart ass biologist, a graduate student in Stanford, a WOMAN IN STEM. How I wish I was her. I'd kick
Tom Benton's dick text
if he ever brings a girl down again. I'd do it voluntarily.

And for Ahn, thank you for making Olive had to kiss him that night.

P.S. Chapter 16 might be spicy, but my personal favorite is Chapter 6. It's all about the comfortability.

Update: Nevermind. Chapter 16 is it. I love Adam's POV. 5/5.
