Billy Summers by Stephen King

4.0

Pretty good. King's crime writing, outside the Bill Hodges trilogy, is not my favorite of his work, but I found this much better than other crime books he has written like "The Colorado Kid" and "Blaze." A few nice nods to "The Shining" in here, which was fun. I also wish King wasn't so allergic to happy endings. I would have preferred the "Billy lives and goes on to write" fake-out ending to the "Billy dies" real ending.
