“Being a serial killer who kills serial killers is a great hobby … Until you find yourself locked in a cage. For three days. With a dead body. In the Louisiana summer. With no air conditioning.”

this gave me a whole new experience. very brutal and gruesome but also funny.

it shows a different side of romance, with very different characters than i used to see in mainstream romance books. i love the chemistry and the relationship between the two main characters. the suspenseful and dark vibes also add a lot of dimension to the story. it’s hazy and making me lose my grip on humanity. looking forward to the second book.
