Galatea by Madeline Miller

2.0

Immediately on the heels of reading Circe, I found this profoundly underwhelming. I'm sure I had high expectations after relishing the aforementioned read like I did, but I'm not sure why this sliver of a tome exists at all. I get wanting to play with formats and so on, though this didn't strike me and – thinking back on it a month after reading it – I barely remember anything of it. Here's to what Miller does next!
