One of my favourite Miagrets of the whole series, one which follows the murder of a restaurateur and former criminal. A very interesting case even if the plot and solution were quite rudimentary. Its the cast and location that are the stars of the show, some entertaining ones in this from The Flea to the drunken husband of the concierge.

For me this one had it all, a quintessential Maigret.
