I get so sucked into Helena Hunting’s hockey series… it’s kind of hard to stop once you start.
📕 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: A Secret for a Secret by Helena Hunting
📙 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: All In character series. Book 3.
📗 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: Listened through Kindle. 🆓 on KU to read & listen.
📘 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲: Sports romance
📔 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: Opposites attract, forbidden love, ONS, he falls first and HARD.
📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Ryan has always followed the rules. Until he meets Queenie, and begins to step outside his comfort zone. But she’s a hurricane to his calm seas, and they might be too different to stay together.
🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: When you read as many romance novels as I do, finding a character who’s even a little unique is wonderful. And Ryan was that character to me. Most people write their leading men as alpha and brooding - but that’s not Ryan. He’s calm and thoughtful and a rule follower and sweet.
It takes a good writer to make those attributes stand up and feel great throughout 300 pages, and Helena Hunting nailed it. Ryan was layered and wonderful. And Queenie had a similar character arc that made me root for her to find happiness.
So invested in this series!
𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹: 3/5 🌶🌶🌶
