I really wanted to like this. I have been searching for fun, lighthearted holiday romcoms (sapphic) and have not yet found what I'm looking for. I just couldn't get into this. There was no heat, only discord. It was awkward and slow and I felt like I was forcing myself to keep reading and it just didn't get any more interesting. I may give this another chance, I usually like to read about 150 pages before I give up, but it was hard to even get to the point that I did. I think it may work for others, but it was just boring to me.
