It was originally 4 stars but I changed it to 5 because I Can't. Stop. Thinking. About. It. !!!
This book had me crying, smiling, angry, and more. I'm getting emotional even thinking about this book again. I think everyone should read this especially to learn compassion for someone experiencing poverty. It's a very difficult and triggering read if you've experienced/are experiencing poverty yourself. The anxiety that comes along with being in that situation oozes from every page, this definitely isn't a feel good read. But wow I love it.
