I'm dropping this series. I'll skip to heart of obsidian for a last ditch effort, but it's a wash. I really did like Judd, but that's about it. This series is well written but it does not have enough to hold my attention. The dynamics between the couples have not been ones I enjoy, the overarching plot is very minimal right now. Just can't bring myself to care unfortunately.
