A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALMOST A YEAR FOR THIS BOOK AND IT'S FINALLY HERE! SO EXCITED!!!
This one is one of my anticipated books in 2021 and I have quite a high expectation with this one.
This book is a journey that makes me feel that I finally understand what Nesta's going through behind that angry and annoying behavior.
Somewhere along the story I felt really sad for her because she was really broken and didn't even know how to appreciate herself with no one to help her.
It's nice to be back to Prythian and see how everyone else are faring after the war. Although we didn't see Mor and Elain a lot in this one. Mor was practically there only at some point to teach Nesta how to dance and winnowing someone... and Elain was just there to get angry with Nesta. I mean there's no special scene where Elain and Nesta finally really talked and bonded again as sisters unlike Feyre remembering Elain was closer to her than Feyre ever did in the first place.
While I like the development made in Nesta's character, she didn't really show much of her power despite her power being very powerful that it makes Rhys afraid of her. I expected she learned how to control her power along with her physical training.
The other thing is how Cassian's try to play as a courtier which is slightly out of his character and I think it didn't quite suit him at all.
Overall, I absolutely love it and I have a very good time reading this one because I can't put it down.
I can't wait for another book and see how they will deal with the threat that still exist. I hope the next one comes from Elain's or Azriel's POV and maybe finally shed some light on Azriel-Elain-Lucien situation.
I want to feel everything. I want to embrace it with my whole heart.
Even the things that hurt and hunt you ?
We need those things in order to appreciate the good. Some days might be more difficult than others, but... I want to experience all of it, live through all of it. With them.
So live, Nesta Archeron.

Spoiler
I am so happy for her to finally found friendship with others (especially Azriel because he seems to be the only one that didn't judge her at all from the beginning), mending her relationship with her sisters and finally admit what she feels for Cassian :") THANK GOD THEY WERE MATES! Seriously if I have to deal with the fact that they are not, I will probably throw this one outside the window! I mean they deserve the happy ending with everything they've been through. It's nice to be back to Prythian and see how everyone else are faring after the war.
