i am quite honestly very speechless with this story. it was absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking and i literally couldn’t put it down. you couldn’t pry this book out of my hands because i was hooked from the very beginning. 

i love the story structure.

it’s similar to his other book The Jock where the “big breakup” happens at the first 1/3 of the book

 

the descriptions of Wyatt’s ranch was so vivid it felt like i was actually there. i love how “dream-like” it felt, like it was a place that could only exist in a fictional world. 

the battle that Noël went through to find real and true love in his life was really what made this book for me. i have never wanted a character to find that kind of love more than Noël and when he finally got that love from Wyatt, it was beautiful to read about. 

definitely read if you love any of Tal Bauer’s other books!
