The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

5.0

It hasn't happened a long time for me to love a book so much like I love The Raven Boys.

Originally I was postponing reading this, because just from the description it seemed like another annoying romance of the type: Why can't we be together? I don't want to kill him, but I want to kiss him so badly!!! Turns out this is so much more than just that. It's a fantasy, it's a mystery, it's a crime novel, sometimes it's even a bit of comedy and I have to admit there's stull a healthy measure of romance.
The only thing I didn't quite like was the rushed ending. If it wasn't this rushed the book could have been like 50 pages longer, but I guess that just makes me more eager to read the next one.

All the characters are in a way special and precious to me. Of course if I had to pick a favourite it would be the main OTP (especially Blue - and also I still can't believe it's an actual character name), but let's not pick here, okay…
I must admit that at the beginning of the book I was a bit confused about all the names, but come on: who wouldn't be - just so many names.
All in all, read this! Just read this!!!
