Brewbies by Cynthia St. Aubin, Kerrigan Byrne
4.0
This book is my intro to Townsend Harbor, and I loved it so much that I'm immediately picking up the first book in the series!
Brewbies starts with what I'd call a meet-hot between our gregarious heroine, Darby, and the sheriff of Townsend Harbor, Ethan. Their chemistry was smoking hot from start to finish, with some A+ banter. But what really sold me on this book were the quirky, open-minded inhabitants of this small town. I adored all of the positivity they exuded, most especially when they were being devious and getting under the sheriff's collar.
The angst in this story is fairly low. It's essentially two people realizing that they need to worry less about what others think and focus on finding their own happiness. I'm really excited that I have book one to go back to so that I can spend some more time in this town, and I'm so looking forward to book three!
