I think this book is so freaking enjoyable that it probably would've get 4 stars if I happen to read it some other time. I just wasn't in the right mood having uni exams, it's a shame bc I can totally see myself enjoying the book even more.
still, it's good.
I like how magic just pours out of the pages, everything is wonderful and I loved it.
jacks is definitely an intriguing character and I liked how he never "softens" like he's an unreliable untrustworthy guy, so many "villain gets the girl🤪🤪" stories around but jacks is the only one who actually even wrongs evangeline and doesn't bat an eye, loved the little bastard.
so many plot turns, some of them were too cliche and predictable but still, enjoyable
