Let me preface this by saying I am not generally a fan of contemporary romance. I dig the historical, give me fancy gowns and pirates any day of the week but. . . Ms. Scott managed to do what few contemporary authors have been able to do, and that is to make me give a damn about the characters. I was invested from the start, I've enjoyed every second of my read and am looking ridiculously forward to the rest of this series.
