I enjoyed most of these stories! I skipped the last one, and a couple others were weaker, but a couple really stuck with me and I found myself thinking of them when I wasn't reading the book. A good collection for people who, like me, are trying to set expectations for short stories in general: sometimes you have an idea and other times you have execution, and it can always make a short story if you believe. Jones' idiosyncratic style was on display here, and I'm not sorry I took my time and spread these stories across a couple weeks.
