Incredible book, made me sob more than once. The way he tells this story about a bunch of young men going through such a harrowing ordeal and manages to put so much emphasis on the love, tenderness, honesty, and community between them is so so beautiful. The part about setting the record straight on Roy Harley and Nando’s constant love for his dad made me bawl. Everyone who read Alive should read this too
