Book Lovers by Emily Henry

4.0

in what happens to be my first venture in Emily Henry's work, I happen to really like this book. I think it takes upon the life of Nora very interestingly: I bought into the whole "particular about anything and everything" persona of hers, and how she was based off on the classic workaholic bitchy ex-girlfriends. The flirty banter between Charlie and Nora was so easy to love. I do think that the book primarily focused on Nora and her relationship with herself, and her sister, which means that even though this book is marketed as a contemporary romance novel, it's roots are more in family drama. Much of Nora's character contrasts her sister's, which is supposed to be the point of the whole book; it explains Nora's insecurities, fears and the feelings she's been trying to avoid.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
