Tbh I wish I had the foresight to set up a counter for how many times I ended a chapter saying “what the fuck?” I think that this work is pulled off in a very creative and satisfying way. I think one of the most unsettling things of all is the fact that this was published in 2016, and despite the plot of it it being obviously conspiracy riddled, enough of it all still reads plausible enough to be perplexing. I’m dying to know how much of the novels science is rooted in fact, so Garrett Roper and Bennett Smith if you see this plz hmu thanks!!
