How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

5.0

It is always interesting reading books that are older than me, written by people who have long passed.
Discovering that human behaviour evolves so minutely is always interesting.

Anyways, with that said, since this book has somehow made it to the top of recommended lists, I thought, let me peruse.
It is relevant.
It is helpful.

But, while I was reading, I thought, hmm hmm hmmm, It does view people in a very infantilizing manner (perhaps it's because it was written in 1936 and people were less educated and access to information was not as readily available as it is today?)
With that said, this book will definitely help a parent or guardian befriend or rather be a better person towards their child or children.
