Starting a Cormier Author Study because reading dark books in the holiday season, when it gets dark at 4p, is just my whole vibe. I’ll post an in-depth review on www.HowIFeelAboutBooks.com soon. I’ve read this before and remember not liking it too much, or maybe feeling unsettled by it? But this time I was completely engrossed and loved the twist ending. It was strange to feel sympathy for the bad guy, but Cormier was a master.
