I almost had empathy for Snow but it faded. He is just not a likable person to me. i do get any better understanding of his motives and why he is so cold. Also i did enjoy reading about the games too the game in this book was worse to me than the others. I enjoyed the book overall it answered some questions i had about games founding his family life and gave a great picture of district life from various viewpoints like Snows his cousin and his "best friend"
