I don’t know how to feel about this book. It left me feeling sick. The writing was visceral, there was definitely something compelling about it that kept me reading, but at the same time it gave me an odd feeling. There were occasional parts that felt to me like they were poorly translated or confusing. 

I give it a 2.5 mainly for not being to my personal taste, but I don’t think it’s poorly written necessarily. I need some time to digest what I’ve read.
