The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

5.0

This book was so good but so frustrating. Sejanus was a hero in a villain story. Snow had so many chances to change and just chose the worst choice each time. Lucy Gray was like watching your artsy lovely friend fall for a goddamn extremist Conservative / Republican government guy.

The book took a little time to get into it, and at first I was like wow this is a real slog, but once the incident with Clemensia and then Arachne happened, I knew things were gonna be rough.

Ugh.
