The Unfinished Clue by Georgette Heyer

4.0

I'd read my first Georgette Heyer book around Christmas. At the time, I was not sure how I felt about the writing style and if it was for me. I did love how she could take you by surprise, though!

By chance, I picked up a collection of her works at a library book sale and having heard them raved alongside the likes of Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle, decided to give another try. I am so glad I did! I was thoroughly engaged with the host of characters in The Unfinished Clue (as much as I was the the unraveling of the murder and the solving of it). The story kept me on my toes, too. I was constantly guessing and revising who had committed the murder.

Can't wait to read another!
