I wanted to enjoy this first book so bad, but it was really rough to get through.  I know all of the details are necessary to establish their addictions, but I just felt like we just dove in headfirst.  It felt lacking in character establishment.

Lily and Lo are constantly feeding each other’s addictions, and it was hard to read at times.  I was thrilled when Lo decided to try and get clean, despite his horrible father’s commentary.

Lily drove me absolutely bonkers for a good portion of the book, but I could tell she loves Lo.

Overall, looking forward to more of Lily and Lo as they navigate their addictions while in a relationship.

Side note:  I really love Connor Cobalt and can’t wait to read his story with Rose.
