Alchemy Academy is book one in
a series. It starts with orphan Roxy from London, who stowes away on a boat that happens to be taking the passengers to a magical island.
Though she's not magical the Shadowmaster allows her to stay.
There's obviously more to our characters than what is revealed.

The character building in this story is great and you can see the potential with the series. The twist on
the paranormal elements are intriguing and I really like the writing style. I look forward to reading more by Jess Peters
