The Deep was equal parts haunting and beautiful. It was also the absolute perfect length. Rivers Solomon's writing was fantastic and the world-building here was so complex and well developed in such a few short pages?? I'm going to be thinking about this for the rest of my life.

The way memory and history were approached here had so much weight to it. I really do not have to words to express how much emotion I felt while reading this novella.
