Little Victories: Perfect Rules for Imperfect Living by Jason Gay
4.0
Note: I received a free copy of this book through Goodreads Giveaways.
This was a really fun, quick read. I particularly enjoyed the way the book's format, part memoir/part "list" of do's and don'ts, reflects the random way people/I often think- that made it all the more fun and readable. I loved the way one comment lead to another and then again to another, all these connections made about any given topic or situation- it never felt like rambling, it felt like my own inner voice or like a good chat with a friend. And above all- the message behind the whole book, celebrate the little moments, focus on the little moments, soak them up, resonated with my own personal philosophy. Nothing really new and groundbreaking, but a nice, fresh, and funny voice reminding me life is more about the little moments than anything else. This book will stay on my shelf for that reason alone!
