Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

I am terribly sad that this series is over. I was skeptical before I started Throne of Glass as it's 8 books long, BUT I fell in love with it. The characters will always have a very big chunk of my heart. πŸ₯Ή

I am in awe of Sarah J Maas and was weeping for more than 60% of the book. I gasped, screamed, swooned, laughed, and enjoyed every moment of this book. I could feel my heart trying to escape in so many instances. It was a cinematic experience at its best.

I don't usually share spoilers, but I need to talk about these characters. If you can believe, they touched me even more than ACOTAR characters, and that's something.

**Spoilers ahead**

Well, obviously, I love Aelin and her relationship with every single character, but her friendship with Fenrys broke me in all the right ways. I wept so much for Lysandra, her love for Aelin and her strength. I did not expect to love Dorian and Manon together. They felt just perfect for each other with their broken hearts. And Evangeline?? Ohh I love that brave kid.  Every character touched me in ways I cannot express, be it Elide, Yrene, Asterin, Lorcan, Aedion, Gavriel, of course Rowan, and even Chaol. And that ending??? I salute you. 🫑
