The final 150 pages or so of The Hero of Ages expertly ties the trilogy together, answering most questions and ending on a beautiful note. A really bold way to end things and kind of hitting upon the cosmic greatness The Stormlight Archive explores more. That said - the journey to get there I found to be a mixed bag with some pacing issues. Loads I liked but some choices not so much. The Sazed stuff I loved and his personal journey was brilliantly handled. Spook as well finally getting some light light was great and I enjoyed his escapades. The Vin and Elend stuff I was more mixed on. I think their plot was stretched a little too thin and I stand by Elend being a Mistborn was a mistake. Vin as well was sidelined for too long. I get both things needed to happen in order for the plot to develop however for the final book, I wish she was there a bit more. That said, I’m very satisfied with the ending and it was a good way to end the trilogy. Roll on Era 2!
