This is book #23 in A Tea Shop Mystery series. It reads perfectly fine as a standalone as it goes over who all the characters are with descriptions, but I will be reading book #1 next. I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was surprising and not totally predictable as there were lots of twists and turns and a variety of possible outcomes. Laura Childs also adds recipes for the dishes that are referenced 😄 My rating for spookiness is 👻👻
