I listened to the audio and followed along with the book because at first I wasn't absorbing any of it. Once I got into it, I was hooked! What a ride!! There is a lot of information but once you give it your full attention, it's easy to keep it all straight. The fantasy, the mystery, the magic, all of it intertwined to create a full on universe within ours with characters and places you can't get enough of. Dawes is one of my favorites and I hope we get to delve into her story more...luckily this is the first in a series so I'm hopeful we'll get the chance. I was genuinely surprised at the reveal of the murderer, I was truly not expecting that. I will absolutely be continuing this series, it's very well written and I can't wait to see what Alex does next.
