I just love bardugos writing lol. Literally fell in love with zoya and Nikolai with this book <333
I did feel like it dragged on a little bit, and some of the plot lines didn’t feel as finished as they usually do. But idc bc I still enjoyed this a lot.
Loved seeing some of my favs back again. And rlly, I just am in awe of bardugos character work. Obsessed. I personally don’t think Hanne’s story was developed enough, I felt like we could’ve gotten a little more about them. And a more explicit exploration of their gender identity bc we need more of those conversations. But I still rlly liked seeing them and Nina heal and thrive together.
Anyway, imo this was a satisfying ending to the duology and the characters will live in my heart rent free x
