The Good Soldier: A Tale of Passion by Ford Madox Ford

4.0

This was a relatively quick read. I found it most interesting that Madox Ford tells you right off the bat who is characters are, their flaws, aspirations, and their shames. The rest of the novel serves as a space to flesh out these impressions. There are no hidden corners and no surprises to see coming. I find this interesting because despite this, I was urged to keep reading.
