The Right Move by Liz Tomforde
medium-paced
5.0
I loved Indy and Ryan Shay from Mile High so I knew I would love this book. The one thing I wasn’t a fan of was that it’s basketball and I hate basketball. I just kept thinking it was another sport 🤣 The length of this book is super intimidating and it definitely took me longer to read than other books. With that being said, I enjoyed every minute of it. Ryan is a grumpy ass in the beginning of the book and I freaking love a hot, grumpy fictional man. Indy has been through some stuff and tries to be bubbly and happy. Ryan’s twin is best friends with Indy and convinces him to let Indy live with him for a little while until she’s able to get her own place. The banter in this book had me giggling like an idiot. The flow of this story makes you feel like you’re in their friend group and are in on everything. I loved seeing Zanders and Stevie in this one. I’ve missed them so much! One thing I loved about Ryan is that once he likes you there is nothing he won’t do for you. He fights with himself so much and at times I wanted to reach through my kindle and give him a hug. The relationship that Ryan & his sister Stevie have is seriously warmed my heart. It makes me wish I wasn’t an only child. I loved how protective Ryan was with not only his sister but with Indy as well. I love the way Ryan & Indy’s characters were written. I’m absolutely obsessed with this series and plan on reading the 3rd book soon. I love me a good baseball romance 🔥
